Installation Tech Tip:

Line boring is required after installation of CEP Billet Main Caps to ensure proper main alignment and clearances for the crankshaft. If you do not have a machine shop for this, we can help. Your block will need to be shipped here for the necessary machining. Give us a call and we can help arrange shipping.

If using with a girdle plate it may require removal of material from the main caps for proper stack up clearances. If you are purchasing the girdle with the caps, it is assumed that you will want them to be machined together and will be installing them in the same engine. If this is not the case, please notify us so these parts are not machined to work in unison.
