Choate Engineering isn’t your normal diesel engine machine shop. Most shops have antiquated equipment that may have been great 30 years ago. But equipment wears out, and no longer holds the same tolerance as it did when it was new. Choate Engineering Performances Diesel Engine Machine Shop has heavily invested in its abilities for machine work. Boring and honing at Choate Engineering, is done on our state of the art CNC Rottler F69ATC and H85AX. Here in these videos we explain how we are able to blueprint the engine block back to its design intent. And we are also able to hold a .0002 tolerance from cylinder to cylinder in our hone.
