Cylinder head inspection is important to know the health of the heads before installing them.
This price is for a set of V8 heads.
Pressure Testing is to check for cracks in the heads that could cause issues with coolant consumption. Magnetic Particle Inspection allows the naked eye to see cracks in the castings.
If the cylinder head is non-ferrous (aluminum) it is necessary to test the heads with water under pressure. This is done at 40 psi, and allows us to see any issue that may result in problems later down the road.
