CHOATE wants our customers to buy with confidence. We stand behind our products and are confident they will provide the results we promote. We also understand that there are circumstances that would require a product to be returned.
If a deposit has been placed and build has been started. We require a restocking fee of 10% minus the shipping and core charge to come out of deposit made.
If the engine has shipped and customer wishes to return, the engine must NOT have been removed from the pallet or unwrapped. Restocking fee is 10% of total bill. No exclusions. Shipping will not be refunded.
Non-Defective/Non Damaged Product Return:
For a return of a product that is not defective or damaged a 25% restocking fee will be charged. Shipping will not be refunded. The product must be returned within 30 business days.
Defective Product Return:
If a product is being returned under its CHOATE warranty, follow the instructions in the product warranty and RMA return instructions.
Damaged Product Return:
CHOATE ships via UPS, FedEx, and Freight of our choosing . If a product appears to have been damaged in shipping, refuse the package and contact CHOATE to inform us of the damages so we can rectify the situation in a timely manner. If the package is accepted and damages occurred, it is the responsibility of the recipient to file a claim with UPS, FedEx, or the Freight company used for your shipment.

CHOATE ships to the fifty U.S states and Canada International orders must be called in to our office to assist you further. In addition, not all products are eligible to ship to all destinations listed above. CEP reserves the right to cancel your order and issue a full refund if an order cannot ship to any location for any reason.
When will my Product be shipped?
Engines are Made to order. They can take between 1 week and 4 weeks depending on our schedule. Please call our office for further information . 901-553-9847
Cylinder Heads Have a 48-72 hour lead time. Rush orders Require an additional Charge
Small Parts Should be shipped out within 24 hours of placing the order. Please keep in mind this is sometimes dependent on availability . If the Lead time is longer Please expect a call from our Parts Department.
How long will it take to receive my product?
Packages are shipped Monday through Friday this does not include major holidays. We are closed the Full week of July 4th and the Full week of Christmas. and Most within 1-6 business days from the shipment date depending on your location. Non-stock, special order and out-of-stock items may take 1-2 weeks or longer to be received. Packages will not be delivered on the weekends (Saturday and Sunday) unless specifically specified or on major holidays, this includes expedited services such as Next Day Air.
Canadian Duties & Taxes
The recipient of an international Canadian shipment may be subject to import taxes, customs duties and fees, which are levied once a shipment reaches the recipient’s country. Additional charges for customs clearance must be paid by you, the recipient; CEP has no control over these charges and can’t predict what they may be. Customs policies vary widely from city and province; you should contact your local customs office for more information. When customs clearance procedures are required, it can cause delays beyond our original delivery estimates.
