    Factory machining flaws that lead to compression loss and coolant leaks are eliminated by CNC blueprinting the block and cylinder head, creating perfect tolerances and surface finishes for superior MLS (multi-layer steel) head gasket sealing.

    Balanced for Vibration Reduction

    Heavy lugging creates severe torsional stress. Our dynamic rotational balancing protects the entire drivetrain assembly, from crankshaft to rods and weight-matched pistons, from excessive vibrations and premature fatigue.

    Precision Diamond Honing

    To combat the accelerated cylinder glazing and piston ring wear caused by soot loading, we diamond-hone the cylinders to a tight 0.0001-inch tolerance for perfect piston alignment and reduced internal friction.

    Updated Industrial-Grade Internals

    We upgrade the B6.7 with heavy-duty exhaust valves to handle extreme exhaust gas temps, and in-house machined cylinder heads are Magnafluxed and pressure-tested to handle rapid thermal loading, job after job.

    The Choate Remanufacturing Process We treat your XCMG’s industrial engine with the same "Stock is Not an Option" philosophy we use for our 1,000+ HP competition builds:

    • CNC Blueprint Boring: We don't just hone cylinders; we CNC blueprint the block to ensure perfect geometry and alignment, correcting factory casting shifts.

    • Precision Balancing: All rotating assemblies are weight-matched to within 2 grams. This minimizes the internal vibration that leads to premature bearing failure under heavy hydraulic load.

    • Torque Plate Honing: We simulate the stress of a torqued cylinder head during the honing process. This ensures a perfect ring seal, preventing the blow-by and oil consumption common in high-hour excavators.

    • Upgraded Components: Every engine receives brand-new pistons, lifters, and oil pumps.

    Ordering Instructions To ensure 100% compatibility with your XCMG's hydraulic pump and wiring harness, our team will contact you after purchase to verify your Machine Serial Number and 8-digit Cummins ESN.     Choate Engineering Industrial engines are covered up 1 year / 2,000 hours, with some limitations.

    We also require our customers to follow proper maintenance procedures, replace critical components during installation, and more.

    As consideration for the above warranties, the buyer agrees they will take no action, statement, characterization, or implication regarding Choate Engineering Performance that may in any manner be interpreted as disparaging to Choate Engineering Performance or the reputation of Choate Engineering Performance. Any violation of this is a material breach, entitling Choate Engineering Performance to void any warranty.

    CHOATE ENGINEERING PERFORMANCE SHALL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE, NOR SHALL IT PAY ANY FREIGHT/SHIPPING CHARGES.

    • All freight and shipping charges are the sole responsibility of the customer, including any customs fees or brokerage fees.
    • Any shipments Choate Engineering Performance arranges for the customer include insurance.
    • In the event the purchased unit is damaged during transportation to or from Choate Engineering Performance, Choate Engineering Performance shall not be responsible for any costs associated with such damage.
    • The repair of such damage is not included under the Limited Warranty; should transportation damage skew the results of the diagnosis such that the findings are that the defect is not covered under the Limited Warranty, Choate Engineering Performance shall incur no liability or responsibility whatsoever.
