Performance

Is the 6.7 Powerstroke a good engine ?

They say the greatest ability is dependability. The Daily Driver is designed to outlast the OEM engine. It gives your vehicle that smooth acceleration and better throttle response. This is primarily in part by our rigorous weight matched and balanced rotational assemblies.

On the other hand, the Workhorse is designed for brutal work. It has a durable construction of lower end upgrades. The bearings were a weak point for the original engines. We saw this early on, and changed our clearances in the engine, and went with a higher performance bearing that uses different substrate materials to achieve this. So, if heavy daily towing is part of your job description, then the Workhorse will show up and show out every day.

Engine Size and Power Output

Both engines share the same "6.7L Powerstroke" title, but they cater to different needs. The Daily Driver Diesel Engine is ideal for the weekend warrior, the guy towing his boat and camper. It gets the job done, and you can rest easy knowing the factory failures are resolved by Choate. It's an upgrade from the stock manufacturer, offering reliability and efficiency for everyday use.

The Workhorse, on the other hand, is built for those who tow heavy loads daily. It is a true power enhanced engine. The Daily Driver has been designed to squeeze out as much efficiency and power that the stock components will handle. The WorkHorse however, has many aftermarket parts that allow for more performance than the stock would ever dream of. Its rugged construction withstands tough conditions, making it perfect for construction workers or businesses that move heavy cargo frequently. The Workhorse ensures your truck remains sturdy, reliable, and long-lasting, handling heavy loads with ease.

Price Point

The Daily Driver is an engine designed to help drivers get more out of their vehicles and solidifies reliability. It’s one of the most popular models available and is ideal for drivers who want to save on fuel costs while still getting excellent performance from their vehicle.

It is designed to upgrade your engine to a build with eleminating the costly prone to fail issues as well as securing power. But even if you don’t use it for daily towing, it would still be more economical on your fuel consumption.

The Workhorse diesel engine has a higher price point than the Daily Driver but offers superior performance. This engine is designed for long-haul applications requiring high torque and horsepower, such as heavy equipment transport and delivery. The Camshaft in the WorkHorse provides the characteristics of this engine. It truly shines with turbo response.

What is Lorem Ipsum? Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry's standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum. Why do we use it? It is a long established fact that a reader will be distracted by the readable content of a page when looking at its layout. The point of using Lorem Ipsum is that it has a more-or-less normal distribution of letters, as opposed to using 'Content here, content here', making it look like readable English. Many desktop publishing packages and web page editors now use Lorem Ipsum as their default model text, and a search for 'lorem ipsum' will uncover many web sites still in their infancy. Various versions have evolved over the years, sometimes by accident, sometimes on purpose (injected humour and the like).
